Solar on-grid power system refers to the power generating system which converts DC power generated by solar panels into AC power, then supply the AC power to the national grid nearby. The electricity generated by solar panels will sent to the national grid through inverters. On-grid solar power system is cost effective, the electricity generated will be sent to the national grid rather than batteries.

Off-grid solar power system supplies electricity to the load at daytime and stores the extra electricity in the batteries for night use. Off-grid solar power system is an independent solar power system with storage battery, it does not connect to the national grid, which is suitable for the remote areas without national grid. The system can also be connected to the national grid to create solar hybrid micro system.
